Proposed Enforcement Guidance

 SHARE

FUTURES partners to submit comments on proposed enforcement guidance on harassment in the workplace.

In partnership with Legal Momentum and Legal Aid at Work, FUTURES prepared a template comment for the community to use to send their own comments un urging the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to include examples of gender-based violence that survivors harassed at work experience. Economic security and steady employment can be lifelines to survivors and other marginalized people at risk for abuse, however, they are at additional risk of harassment and abuse within the workplace.

The EEOC should consider recognizing sexual harassment experienced by victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking at work as a form of sex discrimination under Title VII.
